On Friday 18 March 2011 at 13.30 Toerisme Brakel and Toerisme Vlaamse Ardennen, in collaboration with the Flemish tourist association, organize a congress about ‘Events and Tourism’. Specific cases will be discussed, like the Rosbeiaard procession and the Tour of Flanders. Location: ‘t Hof Van De Putte (Zegelsem).

On 27 January Toerisme Brakel participated at the Group Excursions Information Day, organized by the East Flanders Tourist Association at the sports centre in Eeklo.

On 28 January a stylish New Year reception took place at ‘t Hof Van De Putte, celebrating the 35th anniversary of VVV Brakel. During this reception a presentation was shown about the history of the organization.
